Frédéric GILLION

Frédéric is a partner at Pinsent Masons and heads the Construction and Arbitration team of our Singapore office.

He has been referred to as “a leading name, widely commended for his international expertise in construction arbitration disputes and his encyclopaedic understanding of FIDIC contracts. He draws praise for his construction practice from his peers across Europe and Asia. He is qualified to practise English and French law and advises on the full life cycle of construction projects across various sectors” in Who's Who Legal – Global Leader, Construction, Global Guide 2022.

Over his 20-year long career, he has advised on all aspects of construction projects, including as counsel in Dispute Board, expertise and arbitration proceedings, and provided legal support on live construction projects in a wide range of construction sectors, including general infrastructure, transport, water and wastewater, and energy.

Frédéric has also developed a practice as Dispute Board member and Expert ICC Expertise proceedings. He is a Certified FIDIC Adjudicator, member of the FIDIC President’s List and the French list of FIDIC adjudicators. Frédéric is also a member of the list of adjudicators of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).

He is dually qualified in France and England (Avocat au Barreau de Paris and Solicitor in England & Wales).
