Julia PAPADOPOULOS

Julia Papadopoulos is Legal Counsel for Commercial Law in the EMEA region at Arkema, where she provides legal support for the company’s Adhesive Solutions segment. She advises on a broad range of commercial and international matters, helping navigate complex cross-border legal challenges across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Prior to joining Arkema, Julia spent seven years as an Associate at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier, specializing in international arbitration. Her earlier experience includes legal internships with top-tier firms such as King & Spalding, Herbert Smith Freehills, and ASR Avocats, where she focused on international arbitration, litigation, and civil and commercial disputes.

Julia holds a Master’s degree in International Arbitration and Trade from Université Paris-Saclay, as well as a Master’s in Private Law from Aix-Marseille Université, where she also earned a diploma in comparative common law studies. She completed her professional legal training at the École de Formation du Barreau (EFB) in Paris, with a specialization in investment arbitration (FDI Moot).

She is fluent in French, English, and Greek, and has working knowledge of Spanish.
