Stephan KLEBES

Dr. Stephan Klebes serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Deminor Litigation Funding, where he focuses on the legal analysis and management of German litigation and arbitration funding, investment recovery, and antitrust cases, particularly overseeing European arbitration matters and maintaining client relations within German-speaking countries.

Prior to joining Deminor, Dr. Klebes practiced as an attorney at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in Hamburg from 2021 to 2024, specializing in commercial arbitration and complex capital markets litigation. He also gained experience at an arbitration and litigation boutique law firm in Hamburg in 2020 and worked in various roles, including Sales Manager, at an international marketing organization across Frankfurt, Paris, and Vienna between 2007 and 2010.

Dr. Klebes's academic credentials include a Ph.D. (Dr. jur.) summa cum laude from the University of Osnabrück (2020), a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Alternative Dispute Resolution with distinction from the University of Cape Town (2016), and both State Exam (1. Staatsexamen) and Bar Exam (2. Staatsexamen) with distinction from Mannheim and Celle, respectively. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with distinction from Mannheim (2013).
