Join us this Paris Arbitration Week as Reed Smith and AfricArb co-host a lively panel debate exploring: “Energy Transition in Africa: Arbitration at the Crossroads of Sustainability and Development”. Our speakers, representing diverse backgrounds, will share their insights and explore the critical intersection of renewable energy development and dispute resolution in Africa.

Keynote presentation: His Excellency Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda, Attorney General of the Republic of Malawi.

Key topics of discussion include:

• Resolving disputes in energy project financing and cross-border trade
• Legal, policy, and sovereignty challenges in Africa’s energy transition
