How to address the challenges of arbitration involving crypto-assets ?

This workshop will provide an opportunity to review the progress made by this ICC France-Raid Square Working Group set up in mid-September 2025 which has the following objectives:

- Encourage the use of arbitration in the crypto-asset sector by informing this growing industry of the benefits of this alternative dispute resolution method: confidentiality, speed (with awards issued within six months for disputes under USD 3 million), procedural flexibility and choice of industry-savvy arbitrators ;
- Promote a better understanding of the legal, economic, and technological issues of the crypto-asset sector by arbitrators, counsels, and arbitral tribunal secretaries to gradually acculturate through a glossary of technical concepts, a typology of crypto disputes, model clauses, and recommendations on evidence and procedural security the Parisian arbitration community to the challenges of Web3 ;
- & Identify points of evolution in the current rules governing domestic arbitration and international arbitration to build a robust and innovative legal framework for the resolution of Web3-related disputes.
