Sign inThe Internationalisation of International Arbitration
Presentation
“International arbitration is increasingly recognised as a transnational system of justice”, observed the late Professor Gaillard in his 2007 Course at The Hague Academy. How has international arbitration evolved over the past 20 years: continued internationalisation, or increasing idiosyncrasies and parochialism?
Drawing on Professor Gaillard’s legacy, Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes is delighted to host a conference exploring the internationalisation of international arbitration. In a first panel launching the third edition of Mustill & Boyd on Commercial and Investor State Arbitration in Paris, the book’s authors will discuss internationalisation primarily through the lens of the English law on arbitration. A second panel will examine global perspectives on internationalisation, drawing on experiences from a range of jurisdictions and legal traditions.
The conference will be held at the Shangri-la Hotel and will be followed by a cocktail.
