Sign inWhat is the impact, if any, of geopolitical crises on international arbitration? A debate in collaboration with Sciences Po Law School
Presentation
Join us for an engaging discussion on the impact of geopolitical crises on international arbitration, co-organized by Sciences Po Law School and Wordstone Dispute Resolution.
This conference will feature two Oxford-style debate panels held under the Chatham House Rule*, offering an in-depth exploration of how current geopolitical tensions shape the role and decision-making of international arbitrators.
First panel: “Given the current geopolitical situation, arbitrators must take into account enforcement risks when adjudicating a dispute.”
Second panel: “Given the current geopolitical situation, arbitrators must consider granting relief different from damages to render their decisions more effective.”
A coffee break will take place between the two panels, providing an opportunity to network and reflect on the discussions.
* Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers, nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
