On 2 July 2024, the PAW association held its general assembly, and elected three new board members: Anastasia Davis Bondarenko, Niels Aujouannet-Kelner and Alexandre Vagenheim.
The Board also appointed its new bureau:
- Diamana Diawara et Benjamin Siino as Co-Presidents;
- Claire Pauly et Vanessa Thieffry as Co-Secretaries General; and
- Alexandra van der Meulen as Treasurer.
The Co-Presidents renewed the mandates of Elsa Paparemborde, Catherine Schroeder and Astrid Westphalen as Vice-Presidents, and also appointed the PAW’s three new board members to Vice-President.
The members of the Organising Committee would like to thank Marily Paralika (outgoing Co-President), Ioana Knoll-Tudor (outgoing Co-Secretary General) and Sabrina Aïnouz (outgoing Vice-President) for their unwavering commitment, energy and involvement in the course of their mandates.
Diamana Diawara and Benjamin Siino, the new co-Presidents, declare: ‘Thanks to the drive and dedication of the former Board members, Paris Arbitration Week has established itself in just eight editions as a must-attend global event for arbitration specialists.’ They add: ‘We are committed to continue the work already started and to go even further make one step further with regard to unity, diversity, sustainability and innovation in the arbitration community, with Paris as the centre of the debate’.
The Paris Arbitration Week is proud to embody a spirit of openness and diversity with the promise of connecting and uniting the international arbitration community. The PAW Organising Committee itself is composed of a wide range of profiles, with varied backgrounds and broad experience in the field of international arbitration.

Unique and unprecedented events:
- The traditional Opening Cocktail, held for the first time at Paris City Hall, which attracted over 1,500 people;
- The legendary cruise on the Seine organised with CFA40 and PVYAP, which attracted 700 participants;
- The GAR Awards presented by the Global Arbitration Review;
- The first event dedicated to sustainability organised by PAW;
- The first event dedicated to in-house lawyers organised by PAW;
- The #PAWGames, a sports event organised by PAW to celebrate the Olympic Games.

PARIS ARBITRATION WEEK The PARIS ARBITRATION WEEK is an annual event that takes place over a week in Paris, a major centre for international arbitration. The PAW has rapidly established itself as a leading event for international arbitration practitioners.
Its aim is to bring together arbitration professionals from around the world to discuss key issues in the field, whether investment or commercial arbitration, the impact of national legislation and international trade agreements on arbitration, and developments in the profession. The week is also an opportunity for informal meetings at the various cocktail parties and evening events.
