Daniela-Olivia GHICAJANU


Deputy Counsel

Daniela-Olivia Ghicajanu is a Deputy Counsel at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris (France). She is also a Ph.D. candidate in investment law and economic sanctions at KU Leuven University (Belgium). Before joining the ICC in March 2025, Daniela has practised arbitration in the United States, Paris, and Dubai, as well as part of the European Commission. Her experience encompasses international arbitration, EU law, and international economic policy.

Daniela is a member of the YRAP Board and serves as the Co-Chair of Campaign for Greener Arbitrations Marketing Task Force, and an editor of the IFILA blog. Daniela obtained her LLB in Romania and holds an LL.M in EU law from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium) and an LL.M in International Economic Law from Georgetown Law Centre.
