Guillermo Salcedo Salas is Partner and Director of the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution practice at Salas Law Group (formerly Salas y Asociados Abogados) in Bogota. His practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration, with particular strength in disputes arising from infrastructure, energy, transport, maritime and port activities, and other regulated sectors.

He has more than fifteen years of experience across the full spectrum of complex dispute resolution. He has advised and represented states, public entities, state-owned companies and private clients in more than forty international arbitrations conducted under ICC, ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, UNCITRAL, CRCICA and other institutional and ad hoc rules, across jurisdictional phases, merits, annulment and enforcement of awards. His sectoral experience also includes oil and gas, construction, renewable energy, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. He has acted as secretary to arbitral tribunals and maintains an active practice as arbitrator.r.

Trained in Colombia and France, Guillermo built his career between Latin America and Europe at leading international arbitration firms in Paris. He is admitted to practice law in Colombia and is a member of the Paris Bar (voluntarily omitted). He is trilingual in Spanish, English and French, with the capacity to conduct written and oral advocacy in all three languages.

He is a Board Member of the Colombian Maritime Law Association (ACOLDEMAR) and a member of ICCA, ICC Colombia and CEIA.
