Ilinca Popescu is a quantum expert and Principal at The Brattle Group with over 16 years of experience advising private and public sector clients on valuation and regulatory matters in investor-State and commercial arbitrations across a broad range of industries, including natural resources and infrastructure.

She has contributed to numerous complex and high-profile disputes, including cases in the mining sector, where she has supported the assessment of project valuation, comparables analysis, regulatory risk, and feasibility issues. Ilinca has testified in French, Spanish, and English, and has co-authored expert reports, developed sophisticated valuation models, and advised legal teams on quantum strategy and economic issues.

She previously helped teach corporate finance and valuation on the Masters in Finance program at London Business School and lectures on damages in international arbitration at Leiden University.
