Joana is a member of the litigation and arbitration team and of the Morais Leitão international arbitration team. Prior to joining the Firm, Joana worked at Three Crowns LLP, in Paris and at the New York offices of King & Spalding LLP. From 2021 to 2024, she served as an ICC YAF Representative for the Europe and Russia chapter, being the first representative from Portugal. Between 2023 and 2025, she was a member of the Under 40 Committee of the Portuguese Arbitration Association.
