Lino Diamvutu holds a Law Degree from the Faculty of Law of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), obtained on 23 September 1997; a Master’s Degree in Law (Civil Law Sciences) from the Faculty of Law of Agostinho Neto University (UAN), obtained on 4 December 2015; and a PhD in Law (Civil Law Sciences) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), obtained on 28 November 2019.

He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of Agostinho Neto University, where he teaches the subject of General Theory of Civil Law. He also teaches Arbitration Law in the Master’s program in Business Law Sciences at the Faculty of Law of Agostinho Neto University. He is a visiting professor in postgraduate and Master’s programs in Law at several universities (Catholic University of Angola, Katyavala Bwila University, and the University of Lisbon).

He is a Lawyer and Arbitrator (ICSID, ICC, AFSA, Lisbon Arbitration Centre, CAMARB, CREL, and HARMONIA). He is a researcher at the Centro de Investigação de Direito Privado (CIDP) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. He is a Member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC).
