Sign inArbitral Institutions and Sustainability: Observations, Obstacles, and Outlook for the Future
Presentation
Join prominent leaders from leading arbitral institutions as they explore the evolving landscape of sustainability in international arbitration. This engaging roundtable led by key figures of the Campaign of Greener Arbitrations will highlight the latest initiatives being adopted by institutions to reduce their environmental footprint, including carbon budgets, green procedural orders, rules referencing the Green Protocols, environmental impact mindfulness, and cost and time efficiency synergies, amongst others. The roundtable will also discuss key findings from the Green Survey including the challenges encountered and the progress achieved so far, and explore opportunities for greater collaboration and impact. Attendees will gain insights into progress achieved and a shared vision for building a more environmentally responsible arbitration community.
Note: In addition to this roundtable, the CGA will also host our annual Sustainability Walk Through Paris on Thursday 10 April 2025 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in the Jardin des Tuileries. All are welcome to join!
