Presentation

The event will mark the official launch and presentation of the Global Arbitration & Sustainability Forum, an independent, non-profit initiative, dedicated to the public interest. Founded by legal practitioners committed to promoting rigorous, cross-disciplinary and open thinking, the GLAS Forum operates free from political or economic influence.

By bringing together participants from diverse jurisdictions and professional backgrounds, fostering an international and multidisciplinary conversation, GLAS Forum aims to provide a space for constructive dialogue and advance reflection on how international arbitration can support the governance of global ESG-related challenges.

From an academic and practical perspective, this session will also explore deep and intriguing topics such as due process, procedural efficiency, and the concrete application of these principles in commercial environmental arbitrations and ESG-related disputes.

The event will be organized in partnership with Jus Mundi and Arbitration Channel, the first "Benefactor Members" ("Membres Bienfaiteurs") of GLAS Forum. On this occasion, we would like to formally express our gratitude to Jean-Rémi de Maistre, Alexandre Vagenheim, Bianca Longo and Lauro Parente for their trust and steadfast support, which they have shown since the very inception of this initiative.

The working languages of the session will be French and English. For the participants'convenience, information regarding the appropriate application enabling real-time multilingual access will be provided in advance.
