The Evolution of Arbitration in the CEE and Central Asia Regions: A Roadmap for the Future
Presentation
Join us at Addleshaw Goddard’s event during the 2024 Paris Arbitration Week for an insightful exploration of the changing landscape of arbitration in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.
Curated by our International Arbitration team and moderated by our Paris based arbitration partner and CEE specialist, Dr. Ioana Knoll-Tudor, this event is a continuation of her well-established tradition of hosting CEE-related events during the Paris Arbitration Week and will delve into the transformation of arbitration disputes in the CEE region in light of recent geopolitical and economic shifts.
To this end, we have assembled a complementary and “always-on-top” five-star panel. The panel will first feature a debate with an economist analysing recent trends. This will be followed by a discussion of two counsels and arbitrators active in the region, a representative of an arbitral institution with a high volume of CEE related cases, and a representative of a third-party funder. They will discuss a range of pressing topics, ranging from the impact of the war in Ukraine (sanctions, reparation, reconstruction, etc.), the potential enlargement of the EU and the exit from the Energy Charter Treaty (ECT).
Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights from leading experts on the trends and perspectives shaping arbitration in the CEE region. Register now and be part of this thrilling conversation!
