About us

Africa Construction Law (ACL) is a pan-African initiative established by construction law practitioners from across Africa and the diaspora. It serves as a platform for the comprehensive exploration and advancement in the field of construction law, encompassing front-end project development, project financing, and dispute resolution throughout the continent.

As a pan-Africanist organization, ACL has a truly diverse membership representing the full spectrum of contractor, employer, sponsor, lender and consultant profiles on the continent (i.e., East, West, North, South, Francophone and Lusophone African jurisdictions) and beyond.
