Baku Arbitration Centre
About us
The Baku Arbitration Centre (BAC) is an arbitration institution based in Azerbaijan, created to promote arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. It administers both domestic and international commercial arbitration proceedings in accordance with modern rules that reflect international best practices. The Centre was inaugurated in 2025. It emphasizes party autonomy, allowing disputing parties to choose their arbitrators, the language of the proceedings, and the applicable law. BAC seeks to offer a neutral, efficient, and cost-effective forum for resolving commercial disputes. In addition to case administration, the Centre plays an active role in developing arbitration culture through training programs, conferences, and publications. Its work is particularly significant for disputes connected to the Caucasus and Caspian regions, contributing to Azerbaijan’s ambition to establish itself as a regional hub for arbitration.
