Join us on the Cycle to Paris Arbitration Week (PAW) and help us transform young lives. The event is open to all levels of rider and will provide some of the best networking both on and off the bike. Whether you own a road bike or are yet to buy one, we'll help and support you every step of the way. In the lead-up to the ride, regular training rides and social events will help you prepare for the challenge ahead. It will be a unique team effort that forms memories and friendships for life - and, most importantly, raises money for Club Peloton and our supported charitable project delivered by Save the Children.

The ride was founded by Owen Lawrence of Arbitra and Carlos Carvalho (formerly of Opus2) and is fully supported with mechanics, paramedic and the Club Peloton crew. You'll ride as one peloton at an average speed of between 20-25kph, supporting each other and building a phenomenal team spirit over three days. While the pace is set by the slowest rider, it should be stressed pre-event training is essential. Riding in a group saves energy and you'll go faster than when riding by yourself. It sounds daunting, but everyone who tries it from novices to seasoned riders love the experience.

ITINERARY

You can either ride three full days from London, or two full days from Dieppe. The latter is for those attending the IBA Arbitration Day on Friday 4th or for those based on the continent joining riders from dinner on the Friday evening in Dieppe.

>> Friday 4th April - Day 1 - Sunrise ride from London to Newhaven - 105km, 1050m ascent - then ferry and overnight in Dieppe.

>> Saturday 5th April - Day 2 - Dieppe to Beauvais - 127km, 1150m ascent

>> Sunday 6th April - Day 3 - Beauvais to Paris - 122km, 915m ascent

Our journey from the heart of London to Paris promises to be stunning. Leaving London before the world stirs on Friday 4th April, you'll enjoy the car-free stillness of the  early morning, heading through the North Downs as the sun rises and on to the  picturesque villages of Sussex  to reach the coastal town of Newhaven. Our lunchtime ferry takes us to the picturesque town of Dieppe where our hotel and dinner awaits. After a good night's sleep our journey on smooth French roads and car-free cycle track takes us south-east towards our overnight stop in Beauvais. The final day of riding culminates with a finish right in the heart of Paris and breathtaking views of the Tour Eiffel on Sunday 6th, in time for PAW the following day.

Riders attending the IBA Arbitration day are welcome to join in Dieppe by taking the overnight ferry. We will load your bike onto a van in London on Thursday evening to make it as easy as possible for you. A train from London takes approximately 1.5 hours and you and your luggage will be met on Saturday morning by the Club Peloton team on arrival in Dieppe, taken to the rider hotel for a hearty breakfast and reunited with your bike.

Riders based on the continent can join us if they wish in Dieppe on Friday evening for dinner and accommodation. If travelling from further afield and interested in hiring a bike, please get in touch with us via email.

Passport - you will need your full passport details to register. If you are due to renew your passport before the event, please indicate this on the form with ‘TBC'.
Bike Information - you will also need your bike details to register. This will be the make, model, serial number and value - so we can complete customs paperwork. If you have yet to buy a bike then please indicate this on the form with ‘TBC'.

What is the entry cost? All riders must pay an entry fee of £1,250 if riding from London or £1150 if riding from Dieppe.  This is paid for in full when you register.

What are the cancellation and refund details? These can be found in the Terms & Conditions tab before you proceed through to registration, so do please read them.

What do I have to fundraise? All riders, including sponsors and ride captains, are asked to raise £1,000. The key with this, much like training, is to start early and not leave it until the last minute. Your fundraising enables us to fund charitable projects transforming young lives throughout the UK, including Save the Children.

Paris Arbitration Week is the leading arbitration hub and event of its kind and we're proud to be a supporter. It is without doubt the best place to listen, learn and connect with industry colleagues.
