Feigher Dispute Resolution’s practice focuses on international dispute resolution (International Arbitration, Court Litigation, Mediation, Risk Management).

Janice Feigher is a dually qualified lawyer (Avocat, Paris and Solicitor, England & Wales) trained in both civil and common law. She graduated in 2002 in English law and French law from the universities of King’s College London and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

She has over 20 years of experience practicing international arbitration, court litigation and mediation.
She accepts missions as counsel or as arbitrator.

She has appeared in arbitration proceedings governed by the arbitration rules of ICC, ICSID, CAM, AFA, VIAC, OHADA, UNCITRAL and IATA, before or alongside the most reputable arbitrators. She has specific expertise in the fields of energy, mining, infrastructures, aeronautics, shareholder disputes, international sale of goods, pharmaceuticals, banking & finance, insurance, tax, corporate law, agency and telecommunications.

She was also seconded to the in-house dispute resolution department of a leading European player in the field of energy.

Feigher Dispute Resolution acts in cases involving aspects of insolvency, international sanctions and compliance/business ethics.

Janice has specific experience in cases involving parties or interests from Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Benin, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, DRC, South Africa, Mali, Senegal, Gabon, Angola), the Middle East (Lebanon, UAE, Israel, Iran, Bahrein, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria), Central and South America, Europe (France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, Albania, Sweden), Asie (Singapore, Armenia, Russia, China, Japan) and common law countries (England, Scotland, USA, Canada, Cayman Islands).

As a litigator, Janice Feigher is a tenacious and stalwart advocate.

Feigher Dispute Resolution acts in the earlier stages of the dispute resolution phase of contracts or projects to prevent or manage the risks inherent to the activities of large corporations and SMEs (M&A litigation audit, project management, drafting of dispute resolution clauses).

Whenever possible, we encourage and facilitate the negotiation of amicable solutions.

Before founding Feigher Dispute Resolution, Janice Feigher worked in the international dispute resolution departments of Clifford Chance, Castaldi Mourre & Partners and Norton Rose Fulbright in London, Rome, Milan and Paris.

She is a fluent French, English and Italian speaker and conducts proceedings in these three languages.

Janice has been recognised as a Rising Star in arbitration in the 2015 and 2016 editions of Legal Media Group’s Experts’ Guide and has been featuring in Who’s Who Legal (Arbitration) since 2018.

She features as a recommended practitioner in the 2024 edition of Who’s Who Legal France, Arbitration, in which she is described as “highly skilled in arbitration matters, utilising her wonderful analytical skills when appearing before ad hoc and institutional tribunals. Janice is the author of several publications and regularly speaks in conferences in the field of international arbitration.

She teaches Command of arbitral proceedings in the Universities of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and of Paris Saclay.
Janice trains ARIAS France arbitrators.

She has been Secretary General of the Comité Français de l’Arbitrage since 2022. She was also a co-chair of the CFA40 from 2017 to 2020.

As part of her role of Secretary General of the Comité Français de l’Arbitrage, she participates as an observer in the sessions of UNCITRAL Working Group II on Dispute Settlement in the United Nations.

She is a member of the Board of the Observatoire de la pratique du Règlement d’arbitrage de la CCI and of the scientific committee for the Headnote Series of Delos Dispute Resolution.

Janice is a member of ICC’s Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

She is a founding member of Karaoke/Arbitration!

Janice Feigher helps her clients in public speaking coaching to build a public speaking toolkit that suits their individual needs and bolsters their self-confidence for both their written and verbal communications.
