Global Arbitration & Sustainability Forum – Glas Forum
About us
The Global Arbitration & Sustainability Forum - GLAS FORUM is a recently created, independent, non-political and non-profit think tank, dedicated to advancing innovative, science-informed approaches to arbitration and mediation of ESG-related disputes.
GLAS Forum promotes interdisciplinary dialogue grounded in legal scholarship, economics and environmental science. It supports cutting-edge research and informed debate aimed at renewing legal thinking at a time when dispute resolution mechanisms must evolve alongside the planet itself. Our work focueses on debating how conflicts resolutions can be addressed in contexts marked by complex ecosystems, collective externalities and growing global interdependence.
By fostering exchanges between legal practitioners, academics, scientists and policy thinkers, GLAS Forum seeks to contribute to the development of dispute resolution frameworks capable of responding to the systemic challenges posed by sustainability transitions, climate change and ESG governance.
GLAS Forum was founded in 2025 by Daniela de Avilez Demôro, Geneviève Hellfinger, Maxinim de Fontmichel, Sandrine Clavel, Solène Ringler et Yannick Vincent.
