About us

Westerberg & Partners is a Swedish boutique law firm representing and advising clients in complex dispute resolution matters before courts and arbitral tribunals.

With experience of all major arbitral rules, we are experts in international commercial arbitration as well as in investment arbitration and other forms of international dispute resolution. Our team is recognised in Band 2 by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and by Global Arbitration Review as one of a handful Swedish firms to be included on the GAR 100 list. All Westerberg dispute partners and counsel also sit as arbitrators.

With a Stockholm base, we have extensive experience of SCC arbitration proceedings and an excellent track record with more than 80 per cent of cases resulting in a successful outcome or favourable settlement.

Our lawyers are highly specialised in key legal areas relevant to international arbitration, with particular sector strength in energy, oil and gas, construction, finance, insurance, technology, and intellectual property.

Our Sovereign Disputes practice represents States as well as private entities in treaty-based arbitration, post-award proceedings and enforcement actions. We also act for States before local courts in public international law matters, such as State immunity.

We are proficient in several world languages, including English and Russian. We operate in nimble teams, tailored to the needs of the case, and in a spirit of partnership with clients and co-counsel.
