Carlos GOMEZ GUTIERREZ

Carlos Gomez Gutierrez represents clients in commercial and investment arbitrations concerning complex disputes, primarily focused on the engineering and construction of large energy & infrastructure projects.

Carlos is an associate in the International Arbitration practice of the Paris office. He is qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and as an Abogado at the Madrid Bar. He is also admitted to practice at the Paris Bar as a Registered European Lawyer.

He holds an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King's College London and is a founding member of the International Chapter Committee of the French Society of Construction Law (Association Francaise pour le Droit de la Construction et de l'Immobilier).

Before joining Mayer Brown, Carlos worked at City law firms and a top-30 global contractor.

In addition to his native Spanish, Carlos is fluent in English and has professional proficiency in French.
