Caroline KLEINER


Law Professor

Caroline Kleiner is a tenured professor at the Université Paris Cité, where she specialises in the fields of international arbitration, international banking and financial law, and private international law. As a member of the Haut Comité Juridique de la Place financière de Paris (the leading think tank in France that conducts legal analysis in full independence, mainly on banking and financial law), she is involved in discussions on banking and financial legislation. In addition to her involvement in domestic fora, she is also active in international fora. For instance, she is a member of the working group on the legal regime for verified carbon credits at Unidroit, and she is a member of the French delegation to the The Hague Conference on Private International Law for two expert groups on digital tokens and carbon credits. Furthermore, she has been elected chair of the central bank digital currencies expert group.
Professor Kleiner's expertise extends to international monetary, banking and financial law and arbitration. Caroline Kleiner is a legal expert who is frequently consulted on matters of international litigation and who also acts as an arbitrator.
