Eoghan MACDONAGH

Eoghan MacDonagh is a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance based in London where he is part of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team. Eoghan joined Clifford Chance in 2014 and has spent his time between the firm's Paris, London and Amsterdam offices. Eoghan specialises in international arbitration, and ESG risk issues with a focus on business & human rights and issues relating to the energy transition. Eoghan's work over the past number of years has focused on complex climate change litigation, and has a particular specialism in the energy, mining & minerals, and textiles sectors. He is passionate about sustainability and advises on various aspects of EU and UK sustainability legislation and policy, including the EU's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence directive. He is a member of the Innovation and Policy Task Force on the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations as part of the Policy subgroup. Eoghan studied at Trinity College Dublin and Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas and is qualified in England & Wales, and Ireland.
