Fernanda Medina Pantoja has 20 years of experience in representing Brazilian and foreign clients in strategic high-value and high-profile litigation, involving complex matters of civil, commercial, and contractual law, before Brazilian and international courts and arbitration panels. She has been a partner since 2022, after working at two of the most distinguished law firms in Brazil.

Fernanda is also an arbitrator and has acted in proceedings administered by several institutions, such as CAM-CCBC, ICC, CBMA, CAMARB and CAMNORTE. She is currently a member of the Arbitration Board at the Brazilian Center of Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA).

Fernanda is a professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) since 2007 and holds Master of Laws and Doctor of Laws degrees on Civil Procedure from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). She is an invited Researcher at Max Planck Institute (Luxemburg) for the “Comparative Procedural Law and Justice” Project and has been a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge and the Queen Mary University of London (England). She has published and coordinated books and articles in specialised reviews.
