Guang YANG

Dr. Yang Guang, Doctor of Laws from Renmin University of China, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center). She has extensive work experience in Ministry of Commerce of China, UNCITRAL Secretariat, Chinese Embassy in Mauritius and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China during the past 20 years. She has participated in international trade legislative work, international commercial legislative work, as well as domestic legislative work, etc.. Her research and practice involve fields such as international trade law, arbitration law, commercial law, intellectual property law, and competition law. Since joining the Shanghai International Arbitration Center in September 2023, she has accumulated research experience in arbitration case management, comparative studies of arbitration laws, arbitration rules making, digitalization of commercial arbitration, application of substantive law in arbitration, and international cooperation of arbitration institutions, etc.
