Hasan Tahsin AZIZAGAOGLU
Dr Hasan Tahsin Azizagaoglu works at Bench Walk Advisors, where he oversees the due diligence process for proposed funding cases, negotiates funding arrangements, and manages subsequent matters. He is ranked by Chambers and Partners in the 2025 Litigation Funding Guide, recognised in Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders – Third-Party Funding 2024 and 2025 and named among the Lawdragon 100 Global Leaders in Litigation Finance for the third consecutive year.
He has been involved in investment and commercial arbitrations, enforcement matters, monetisation opportunities, class actions, and cross-border litigation across multiple jurisdictions. In addition, he served as Co-Chair of the Third-Party Funding Group at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a member of the organising committees for London Arbitration Week and Istanbul Arbitration Days.
Dr Azizagaoglu holds a PhD in Private International Law and has authored numerous articles and contributions in the fields of private international law, arbitration, and third-party funding. He also holds a degree in International Relations, with a particular emphasis on geopolitical dynamics and global affairs, expertise that lends considerable strategic depth to his work on sovereign-related matters, enforcement proceedings, complex investigations, and cross-border asset tracing.
