Mr. Himanshu Batra is a delay expert witness with over 12 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, focusing on forensic delay analysis. He has been involved in a range of significant capital projects, including railways, hydro-tunnels, telecom infrastructure, power transmission lines, and large-scale industrial developments like buildings and factories, primarily addressing delay-related issues.

Mr. Batra advises legal teams and construction stakeholders on delay analysis, project execution and disruption assessment. His international experience spans multiple jurisdictions, including India, UAE, Russia, Malaysia, and Singapore, under the rules of various arbitration institutions such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) etc.

Mr. Batra is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), London, and holds a Certificate in Dispute Management from the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM). He has a postgraduate degree in Quantity Surveying and Contracts Management from the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) and is also a qualified Civil Engineer. His technical expertise and broad experience make him a valuable asset in resolving complex construction delays.
