Jean-Luc is a Partner at Oxera, having joined the firm in January 2026. He advises clients on valuation, damages quantification, transaction-related disputes, fraud investigations, and complex financial issues arising in international arbitration and litigation. Prior to Oxera, he spent 37 years at KPMG, where he began as an auditor before specialising in transaction services and, from 2003, forensic and dispute advisory work. He led engagements in France and more than twenty countries worldwide and served as Head of KPMG’s Dispute Advisory Service for the EMA region from 2022 to 2025. His transaction experience includes over 50 mandates, involvement in landmark transactions such as the creation of EADS and Airbus, and appointments as independent expert to determine final transaction prices in 19 M&A transactions.

Jean-Luc has acted in more than 60 valuation engagements and 58 international arbitrations, giving oral evidence 40 times as a party-appointed or tribunal-appointed expert under ICC, ICSID, OHADA, CIETAC and UNCITRAL rules, across major arbitral seats worldwide. His experience spans aerospace and defence, telecoms, construction, and complex industrial contracts, alongside extensive fraud investigation work in over 20 countries. He is recognised by Global Arbitration Review as a ‘Global Elite Thought Leader’ and holds advanced degrees from Sciences Po and Université Paris II Assas, and is both a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor.
