érémie is a highly experienced litigator, specialising in complex corporate and financial disputes.

Jérémie’s practice focuses on shareholders, governance, and M&A disputes, as well as general commercial and civil litigation.

Having practised in both Paris and London, Jérémie acts for a broad range of French and international companies. He represents his clients in strategic pre-litigations, litigations and arbitrations, as well as mediation proceedings.

Jérémie started his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was an Associate in the dispute resolution department for nine years, handling mainly corporate and financial disputes. He then founded a leading French dispute resolution boutique law firm, which he ran for eight years prior to joining Signature Litigation.

Jérémie is ranked as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ for his dispute resolution expertise in the commercial litigation category of The Legal 500 EMEA Guide.

He has been recognised in The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, Le Point and Décideurs Magazine rankings. The Legal 500 describes him as a “class act”, “very commercial and client-focused”, and as having “great understanding and analyses, while taking into account the personality of clients.” He is also praised for his “acute and comprehensive understanding of the real issues and challenges faced by [his] clients.”

Jérémie has also lectured for several years at Paris Panthéon-Assas University, where he teaches courses relating to mediation, corporate law and complex dispute resolution clauses. He has authored numerous publications including Corporate Internal Investigations, An International Guide (Oxford University Press), and Swap Contracts and Insolvency Law (Cahiers de droit de l’entreprise). He has often interviewed on various topics, including Mediation, ESG-related disputes, and Private Equity-related issues. He regularly organises events on cutting edge legal topics, including Duty of Vigilance, International Arbitration and Blocking Statutes, Enforcement of Arbitration Awards through Seizure by Garnishment, The Hague Rules on Business and Human Rights Arbitration, and New Developments in Space Law.

Jérémie is a member of the International Law Association (ILA), the association Paris Place de Droit, and other think tanks. He heads the École Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) group of Alumni active in the legal sector.

Jérémie graduated from ESSEC Business School and holds postgraduate degrees in Business and Tax Law from University Paris Panthéon – Assas, and in Private International Law and International Commercial Law from University Paris 1 – La Sorbonne.

Jérémie is fluent in both French and English.
