Laura Yvonne ZIELINSKI

Laura Yvonne Zielinski is a PhD candidate at the Air and Space Law Institute of the University of Cologne. Her thesis covers the protection of space investments under international law.

Laura has over ten years of private practice experience in international law firms, most recently as Senior Counsel at Holland & Knight, and is admitted to practice in Paris, New York and Mexico. Her practice focuses on investor-State, State-to-State and commercial arbitration proceedings in the space, telecommunications, energy, finance and construction sectors. She also advises clients on public international law non-contentious issues, including in the space sector. She works in English, French, German and Spanish.

She is a member of the International Institute of Space Law, Vice-Chair of the Space Law Committee of the International Bar Association, a member of the ICDR Y&I Global Board, past Co-Chair of the Latin America Interest Group of the American Society of International Law, and founder and president of the Space Arbitration Association.
