Myriam SEERS

Myriam is the Chair of the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee. She is a partner in an international arbitration boutique law firm in Toronto, which she joined after practising as an international disputes lawyer in Canadian national firms for the majority of her career. Her practice focuses on investment and commercial arbitration in a variety of sectors. She has particular expertise in the mining, electricity (including renewable energy), oil & gas, transportation and agricultural sectors, and substantial experience with disputes involving Latin America. She has been appointed as arbitrator by the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, and serves as party-appointed arbitrator in several cases under various institutional rules. She also has experience as counsel in cases under all major institutional arbitration rules.
