Pietro GRASSI

Counsel Pietro has a decade of experience in public international law, investor-State arbitration, and international commercial arbitration.

He advises and represents corporations, individuals, States, and international organisations in complex public international law matters before national and international courts and tribunals, as well as in arbitrations conducted under all major institutional rules (including ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SCC, and UNCITRAL). He is frequently instructed in high-value, cross-border commercial disputes and has an active pro bono practice focused on human rights litigation.

Fluent in Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, Pietro has acted for clients in disputes spanning Latin America, Europe, and Africa. He has particular experience in the energy and natural resources sector—including mining and oil & gas—as well as in matters that raise issues of diplomacy and international relations.
