Anna GUILLARD SAZHKO
Anna Guillard Sazhko is a multilingual independent counsel and arbitrator based in Paris. Throughout her 15-year career, she has garnered extensive experience in international arbitrations conducted under the ICC, ICSID, ISTAC, UNCITRAL and SCC Rules. Her specialized focus lies in Ukraine, Central Asia, and the CEE region, where she has represented clients in significant high-stakes cases.
Anna has been appointed as a sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and presiding arbitrator.
Anna’s influence extends beyond her professional practice. She actively contributes to the field of arbitration as a board member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association. Additionally, Anna is a co-founder and co-President of the Turkic Arbitration Association. She also holds the position of Vice President for Energy and Environmental Protection at ICC Ukraine, reflecting her commitment to advancing sustainable practices within the legal sector. Anna also demonstrates her dedication to fostering the growth of young professionals in arbitration through her involvement as an Executive Committee Member and Coordinator of the Mentorship Programme at Young ISTAC.
Anna holds Ukrainian and French law degrees from the National University “Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine” (summa cum laude) and the University Panthéon-Sorbonne Law School.
Anna is admitted to practice law in Ukraine and France and speaks English, French, Russian, Ukrainian and basic Turkish.
