Sebastien Manciaux has been a lecturer since 1999. He began his career at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Dijon and, since 2008, at the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Politics of the University of Burgundy, where he has served as Director of the Master 2 in International Business since 2012 and as a council member since 2019.

Among the main subjects he has taught are: international investment law, corporate law and business engineering, international commercial law, and international arbitration.

He has taught outside France in: Tunisia (2007, 2012, 2017), Marrakech (2008, 2011, 2014), Quebec (2011), Dundee (2012), Rio de Janeiro (2013), Tehran (2015), Luxembourg (2015), Granada (2019), Kobe (2019, 2021). Likewise, he has participated in organizing and attending international conferences in various cities such as Dijon, Paris, London, Tunis, Havana, Santo Domingo, Houston, Luxembourg, Algiers, Chiang Mai, among others.

Professor Manciaux has published various works in French, English, and Spanish, particularly on international investment law, international commercial law, and international arbitration (commercial and investment).

He has served as a consultant and expert in ICSID, ICC, and UNCITRAL arbitration proceedings.
