Solène Ringler is Full Professor of law at the University of Angers, where she teaches contract law, commercial law and business law.
Her research focuses on economic relationships, corporate governance and the contemporary transformations of business law in light of sustainability challenges.
She conducts and coordinates research projects dedicated to sustainable business, fair trade, and the integration of environmental and social requirements into corporate practices and contractual frameworks.
She holds a degree from the Cycle des Hautes Études pour le Développement Économique (CHEDE – IGPDE, French Ministry of the Economy), which supports her interdisciplinary approach combining legal and economic perspectives on corporate transition policies.
She is involved in the design and implementation of corporate transition projects, bringing together academics, public institutions and economic actors, notably within European programmes.
She is co-author of the Dalloz Treatise on Commercial Law (2023) and has published several articles, including “Fighting greenwashing,” “Sustainability disclosure obligations for financial products,” and “ The integration of the duty of vigilance into corporate risk management policies.”
Her work examines the limits of regulation based solely on transparency and explores legal mechanisms capable of steering economic practices toward long-term sustainability.
