Zhihe XU

Mr. Xu is the Director of the Research Department of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC). Before he joined SHIAC in 2013, he worked for Shanghai Jiaotong University KoGuan Law School as a senior officer. In SHIAC, he was entrusted by the Secretariat of SHIAC as a case manager in more than 700 international or domestic cases. He is a leading drafting task force member of SHIAC’s Arbitration Rules. SHIAC has nominated Mr. Xu as Deputy Secretary General of the Arbitration Law Academy of the Shanghai Law Society and the Permanent Forum of China Construction Law. After being selected as the Shanghai Arbitration Commission arbitrator in 2022, Mr Xu worked as co-arbitrator or sole arbitrator in 31 cases.
