Abdullah ALFARHA
Abdullah is a Senior Governance Consultant in Saudi Arabia. He worked as a corporate lawyer at Petro Rabigh (a JV between Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical of Japan), Emaar Economic City (Owner and Developer of King Abdullah Economic City) and the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). His mandate is wide, covering various aspects of the organizations Legal and Governance practices. He was raised in Montreal, Canada. He has an interest is dispute settlement mechanisms at the Board level, and has spoken on the Arbitration and Mediation of these disputes. In addition to Arabic and English, he is fluent in French. He studied undergraduate and postgraduate law in England and has a Masters degree from IE University in Madrid. He has participated in speaking engagements on various Arbitration, Governance, Legal and Mediation topics in Saudi Arabia, Barcelona, Dubai, Frankfurt, London and New York.
