Alexandra VAN DER MEULEN


Partner, International Arbitration

Alexandra is a partner in our International Arbitration Group in Paris and specializes in investment arbitration, public international law, and international commercial arbitration.

She acts as counsel in disputes between States (before the International Court of Justice and in PCA administered arbitrations) and represents States, State-owned entities and corporates in institutional and ad hoc arbitral proceedings, including under the ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICSID, ICSID additional facility, and UNCITRAL Rules.

A French and Dutch national, Alexandra is admitted to the New York Bar and is an Avocat à la Cour in Paris.
She is trained in both civil law (Sorbonne University) and common law (University College London and Georgetown University) and is bilingual in English and French.

Alexandra has been listed as a “Future Leader” in Arbitration by Who’s Who Legal since 2017.

Since July 2023, Alexandra is a Vice-President of Paris Arbitration Week.
