Alexandra WINTREBERT

Alexandra Wintrebert is a Senior Director at Ankura specializing in international arbitration. With over a decade of experience, she provides expert advice in contentious proceedings on matters such as investment treaty claims, commercial, shareholder, contractual, and post-acquisition disputes.

Experience

Alexandra has acted on a wide range of expert witness engagements covering valuations, loss of profits, breach of contract, and post-acquisition disputes. She has experience in proceedings before the English High Court and international arbitration proceedings under the rules of ICC, ICSID, LCIA, UNCITRAL, HKIAC, and SIAC.

Her international arbitration experience in both commercial and investor-state matters include a wide range of industry experience encompassing renewable energy, medical technology, financial services and fintech, FMCG and retail, hospitality, manufacturing, and construction.

Prior to joining Ankura, Alexandra worked for a global consulting firm in London, as well as in Paris, and started her career with a leading UK accounting and professional services firm in London where she focused on commercial and matrimonial disputes, investigations, and monitoring trustee appointments for the EU Commission.

Alexandra earned a first-class bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from the London Metropolitan University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Alexandra is a UK national. She is fluent in French, Ukrainian, and Russian.

In 2025, Alexandra was honored by Lexology Index as a Global Elite Thought Leader in Arbitration in the Experts Under 45 categories, being the sole expert in France to receive this prestigious recognition.
