Amran NAWAZ
Amran Nawaz is an Associate Director in Secretariat’s Damages and Forensic Investigations group, based in Toronto. He specializes in business valuation and economic damage quantification for commercial litigation, international trade, and investment disputes. His work includes financial damages assessments, fraud investigations, dispute analyses, and litigation support.
Mr. Nawaz has provided valuation services in international arbitrations, commercial litigation, tax assessments, mergers and acquisitions, and internal business contexts. He has prepared expert opinions on valuation and economic damages across multiple industries, including sports, entertainment, mining, infrastructure, telecommunications, aviation, real estate, transportation, retail, and healthcare.
Actively involved in Secretariat’s sports industry efforts, Mr. Nawaz collaborates with legal professionals, financial experts, and industry stakeholders to support sports-related disputes, transactions, and regulatory assessments.
Mr. Nawaz is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). He also serves as an instructor for the CBV Institute course “Litigation Support in Business Valuation,” covering economic damages quantification, expropriation matters, and matrimonial and personal injury disputes.
