Arbitrator, counsel

Armand regularly acts as counsel and arbitrator in international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings and in related national court proceedings (set-aside, exequatur, enforcement).

After 2 years at Cleary Gottlieb and 7 years at Quinn Emanuel, Armand started his own disputes boutique in Paris in 2020.

He has acted in over 50 arbitrations and set-aside proceedings, both as arbitrator and counsel.

His expertise extends to art, banking, oil & gas, tax, construction, renewables, real estate and post-M&A disputes under French, OHADA, New York, English and other laws.

He is currently a member of the board of CFA-40, and is a former ICC YAF representative.

He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a M2 from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is an alumnus of the Ecole normale supérieure. He is a member of the Paris and New York bars.
