Bruno HARDY
Bruno is a Partner in the International Arbitration team at Liedekerke.
His practice focuses on international arbitrations in engineering, energy, construction, corporate/ M&A, and commercial contracts disputes. He has represented clients in arbitrations under various institutions and rules including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, CEPANI, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the UNCITRAL Rules, and subject to various laws (a.o. the laws of England & Wales, Switzerland, the DRC, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, Algeria, and Belgium).
Bruno also assists clients in arbitration-related court proceedings and multi-jurisdiction disputes. He has recently acted for and against investors, sovereign States and International Organizations in enforcement and setting aside proceedings raising novel and cutting-edge questions of international arbitration and international law.
In addition to his arbitration practice, Bruno co-leads the firm's advisory team on ESG and sustainability due diligence.
He is a PhD candidate at KU Leuven. Bruno's research focuses on foreign public law claims, i.e. the cross-border enforcement of public laws by States (including through investment arbitration counterclaims).
