Céline FORTOUL
Celine Fortoul is a partner in the Forensic Services team of Grant Thornton in Paris and leads the Forensic Litigation team, which provides financial assistance in the context of disputes and international arbitrations.
Celine regularly acts as financial expert in litigations involving various areas of business law: commercial litigation, intellectual property, expropriation and eviction, competition, construction, mergers, and acquisitions.
She specializes in the evaluation of economic and financial damages, which she documents in expert reports admissible in courts and tribunals. When required, she can also act as an expert witness and testify in front of the relevant jurisdiction.
Céline’s areas of expertise include the quantification of costs and overrun, the assessment of lost profits and lost opportunities, the review of business plans and company valuations, as well as the analysis of accounting data and compliance with accounting standard (IFRS, French accounting principles).
With 15 years' experience in Forensic Services, Céline Fortoul has been involved in numerous litigation cases before the French courts and has also taken part in several international arbitrations (ICC, SCAI, ad hoc arbitration) notably in post-acquisition and construction disputes.
