Dafydd WYN OWEN

Dafydd Wyn Owen leads HKA’s Advisory business the EMEA region. Specialising in major infrastructure investment, Dafydd’s career has spanned public and private sectors and he has advised on some of the most significant infrastructure projects in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the UK.

He has over 25 years experience across government, infrastructure, water and energy sectors and has extensive experience across the full project lifecycle.

Dafydd has led numerous projects for major infrastructure clients including Sydney Water, Sydney Metro, Infrastructure NSW, QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads, Transport for NSW and Endeavour Energy.

Dafydd is at the forefront of driving industry change and recently led the development of the Delivering Outcomes report for Infrastructure Australia – a 15-year road map to increase the productivity of the infrastructure sector across Australia. He is also currently leading the introduction of collaborative contracting into the Middle East.

Dafydd recently returned to the UK to spearhead the growth of HKA’s Advisory practice. Prior to this, he led HKA’s Advisory business in the APAC region, through which he pioneered significant improvements in project and program management practices for more than a decade and played a leading role in many of Australia’s most complex projects.
