Dominik HORODYSKI
Dominik is a qualified dispute resolution lawyer, admitted to the Polish Bar, holder of the Ph.D. degree from the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland. He works as a counsel at the Department of International and European Law of the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland and as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of the SWPS University, Warsaw, Poland.
His practice focuses on investment arbitration and litigation. Dominik has substantial experience in commercial disputes resolution in the field of oil and gas, energy, mining, construction, and infrastructure. He has acted for private and public entities before polish courts and international tribunals in proceedings conducted under the rules of major arbitration institutions, for example SCC, as well as in ad hoc proceedings under the UNCITRAL arbitration rules, administered by the PCA.
In his academic work Dominik concentrates on international commercial and investment arbitration with particular focus on a disclosure requirement and innovations in arbitration. He gives lectures on international commercial law, commercial arbitration, commercial contracts, and law of polish commercial companies.
