Stella LEPTOURGOU
Stella is the Counsel in charge of the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean team at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. In this capacity, she has supervised and administered several hundred ICC arbitrations involving disputes between private companies, states and/or individuals, in matters relating to energy, construction, investment treaties and other general commercial issues. She has also performed the scrutiny of more than two hundred arbitral awards.
Stella is a dual qualified lawyer in Paris and Athens. She pursued her legal studies at the National University of Athens and the University of Barcelona, and thereafter she obtained an LLM degree in International Business Law from the University Paris II-Assas. Prior to joining the ICC, Stella trained in the arbitration practice of several major international law firms.
