Izabella is an International Dispute Resolution Practitioner Qualified in England & Wales, State of New York, BVI and Russia. Russia (9 PQE), New York (6 PQE), England & Wales (5 PQE), British Virgin Islands (4 PQE), SIMI Mediator (Singapore). Native in Russian, fluent in English and French, proficient in German.
Izabella has over 7 years of legal experience in common and civil law countries advising in a broad range of complex disputes across several sectors: oil and gas, shipping, large scale infrastructure, telecommunications, international trade, banking, IT and yachting.
Izabella has significant commercial, investment and sports arbitration experience with seats in France, Switzerland, Russia, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. She has been involved in litigation in the high courts of England, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, France, BVI, and Switzerland. She has also participated in white collar fraud trials and investigations, pre-dispute and enforcement proceedings.
In addition to her disputes practice, Izabella has knowledge of corporate, trade, commercial, financial, maritime and shipping law. She has on numerous occasions advised on sanctions matters and acted for states and state-related entities. Izabella also acts as an arbitrator, negotiator and mediator and has an extensive experience in business development.
