José ROSELL

José Rosell is an independent arbitrator. He is also a Member of the Barcelona Bar Association, and a Honorary Member of the Paris Bar Association.

Mr. Rosell has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration. He has acted as counsel for several states and state-owned institutions, banks and multinational companies in several international arbitration proceedings.

In addition, he has served or is serving as chairman, sole arbitrator or co-arbitrator in numerous international arbitrations, both institutional and ad hoc. Mr. Rosell is able to conduct arbitrations in English, French and Spanish, and has working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese. He has been involved in more than 200 international arbitrations.

Mr. Rosell is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He has been a member of several tasks forces on international arbitration issues established by the ICC. He has also participated in the revision of several other institutional arbitration rules.
